6 Mandatory Meeting For the kids going to Costa Rica. Today at 6 PM in room 109. Students and Parents MUST attend.

7 Oh, no! I have detention. What should I expect? RULES 1.Be on time at 3:35 2.Be prepared to do my homework. 3.If not doing homework, I must sit silently for the full 55 minutes. 4.Do not ask to leave to get materials. The answer is no. 5.I may use the restroom with the teacher’s permission; but, I must leave my phone.

8 No students are permitted on the other side of campus (IRSC campus) at any point during the day without permission (Before, during or after school-unless it’s when we kick you off campus) Only Dual Enrollment students are permitted on the IRSC campus If you are caught trespassing onto the IRSC campus you will automatically receive a Saturday detention This is your warning!!

12 Sponsored by the Miss Spartan Contestants Thursday, March 19 is a dress down day to raise money for Mombasa Relief Initiative One Year Scholarship Our goal is to pay for a One Year Scholarship, including books and uniforms, for one child. for free All Spartans, please participate in this dress down day for a worthy cause. If we raise $200, all students will be allowed to dress down for free on Early Release Wednesday, March 25.

17 ACT Preparation Student you may buy an ACT prep book online on amazon or check them out at the library. The ACT website also has practice tests and activities for FREE.

18 Mets Stadium Concession Stand Fundraiser - Saturdays 3/7 & 3/14 We need 16 volunteers each day:  8 on cash registers, 3 on grills, 5 helpers. Cashiers need to be 18 or older to sell alcohol. Dress Code:  Jeans or Jeans shorts, Comfortable closed-toed shoes, and a maroon school shirt. Volunteers can park in the employee parking. Manager/Banker and Cooks, be there at 9:30am. Cashiers and helpers need to report at 10:30am. Concession stand 1. Gates open at 11:30am  If you are interested in volunteering stop by the main office and pick up a form, due 3/05. Form is needed for everyone volunteering.  Parents/ students who are interested see Mrs. Hernandez or call the main office.

22 In need of a committee of students for a project The project will take approximately one year, and will give you volunteer hours. This project requires one art student, one business student, one history student, and one tech student. The project is for the City and will not only earn you hours, but be awesome to place on your college apps, and will immortalize your name in PSL. See Rains
