4 Dress Code Reminder Unless it is a dress down day, all students are to be fully in dress code at all times. This INCLUDES outerwear. All hoodies, jackets, sweaters, cardigans, etc, must be SCHOOL approved WITH logo and purchased from Aztec Graphix. Dress code violations WILL be issued for out of dress code. Open toed shoes, slides or flip-flops are NOT permitted. Close toed shoes only.

6 NAU CHARTER SCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR Any students interested in participating as judges for NAU Charter School’s 2015 Science Fair, please see Mrs. Rains. It will take place Saturday, January 16 th at 8:30 a.m running all day. Volunteer hours will be awarded to those who participate. (Remember you need 75 hours to graduate!) NAU Charter School is also looking for student volunteers to tutor K-8 grade students on Thursdays after school. See Mrs. Rains if you are interested.

8 Announcements Mandatory Science Olympiad meeting at lunch, Friday, Jan. 9. room 114. PTSO Meeting tomorrow night at 6PM in Room 109. Parents can earn volunteer hours for attendance.

9 Cheerleading Competition Somerset Spartans perform at 11:45am on January 10 th 2015 Competition is at Civic Center Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 6 years to 12 years old.

10 Drama Club Drama Club meetings will be held every Monday in room 109. If you are still interested in joining come to the meeting. (Members, please don’t forget to bring the donation fee in if you can.)

13 Spelling Test on Friday You were given a list of Spelling words to study over Winter Break. Tomorrow during homeroom, you will take a Spelling test over those words. Students will be chosen to participate in the school wide Spelling Bee based on the scores of the test. This will also count as a grade in your homeroom class.
