6 Poison gas was introduced by the Germans It was difficult to control because you had to depend on the wind direction for it to be effective. If you experienced poison gas it usually led to a slow and painful death Some effects were: blindness, swelling of the throat, paralysis and skin burns.

7 Style of combat used during World War I. First used on the Western front following a stalemate between the Allied and Central Powers. New Technology combined with traditional military tactics led to a long and drawn out period of fighting.
