1 E-MAILS By Stuart Southward

2 Attachments Attachments are files and documents which you can send with an email. These are things like letters, videos, pictures and databases. Attachments are usefully because if you want to send a letter you can just attach it instead of retyping all the letter. You can send pictures and other things quickly.

3 First click here to send an email.

4 Type in the persons address that you would like to send a message to. Type in the message you want to send to them.

5 Click here to proceed in sending an email with an attachment.

6 Click here to chose the file you want to attach to your email.

7 Click here to pick the file you have selected. Click on the file you want to select.

8 Click here to attach a file to the email.

9 This is the file you have chosen to attach to you email.

10 Finally click here to send your email.

11 Email signatures Email signatures are your details that appear on the bottom of all the emails you send. Email signatures are useful so that when you are sending an email you don’t need type all your details again and again. The advantages of a email signature are so you can send emails quicker and it makes sure that you don’t make any mistakes if you type it out every time.

15 Making folders A folder is a place to store contacts in your email area. You might have a work, friends ect. as folder names. Folders are useful because they can store contacts about similar things in the same place.

16 Right click here to get started with making folders.

17 Click here to create your folder.

18 These are three different folders for different contacts. In the yellow box type in the name of your folder.

19 Setting Priorities An explanation mark attached to the email to make it more visible. It also keeps the email at the top of your inbox. It is usually done on very important emails that need a quick response. It helps you organises which emails to respond to first.

20 Click here to start setting priorities.

21 Click here this will set the priorities.

22 Finally click here to send the email. Also make sure the red ! is highlighted.
