8 Citizenship If you were born in another country and are not a U.S. Citizen or legal resident, please put No Selection. DACA Students: Do not list your SSN.

10 Ranking San Diego Colleges If Selecting UCSD, they ask that you rank the colleges. You must click here before ranking the colleges. Learn about each one because each one has its own graduation requirements and themes – they are not major-specific. Rank order does NOT affect chances of admission.

11 Scholarships Review and select up to 16 scholarships that match your characteristics, interests, and background!

12 Indicate YES for the Educational Opportunity Program. -It provides free academic advising and support to first-generation and/or low- income students. -Remember, you are first-generation if your parent(s)/guardian(s) did not graduate from college/university.

13 Please double-check this number with your parent(s)/guardian(s) – these need to be as close of estimates as possible. This is not asking if your parents pay taxes, rather if they provide 50% or more of your expenses.

14 7 th and 8 th Grade Courses If you took Algebra I and/or Geometry in middle school, list them; otherwise, leave it blank. If you took a foreign language in middle school, list it, otherwise leave blank.

26 Test Scores Self-report your scores here and order official scores to be sent to at least one UC campus. They will use your highest score when making a decision.

27 Test Scores ALL AP EXAMS MUST BE REPORTED, PAST AND FUTURE EVEN IF YOU DID NOT PASS. NOTE THAT AP EXAMS ARE ALWAYS IN MAY OF THE YEAR YOU TOOK THEM.

28 The Personal Statement 2 Prompts – applicant must address both 1,000 word total or less View as a personal interview on paper Compose responses outside of the application and request feedback from teachers, counselors, parents and/or friends Paste your responses in plain text Statement 1: Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations. Statement 2: Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud, and how does it relate to the person you are?

29 Additional Comments Use the space provided to describe a situation (personal or academic) that needs further explanation and not fully captured elsewhere in the application. This is NOT a continuation of the personal statement.
