2 Mission Statement The Taste of Vail’s goal is to enhance Vail’s image, positioning and reputation as a world class international resort with serious commitment to fine food and to promote recognition of the Vail life style. The event offers a variety of experiences on the mountain, in restaurants and classrooms to increase the attendee’s knowledge and enjoyment of food and wine.

3 Taste of Vail Event Core events: We intend to grow the Mountain top picnic by improving the quantity of food and number of participating restaurants and businesses which will allow us to increase attendance for this sold-out event. We will build upon our improved events to expand the overall event offering, including additional events throughout the year, by aligning with our partners and sponsors. We will be looking at a new event on the mountain this year to enhance the guest experience in Vail. The Taste of Vail is particularly valuable for our sponsors, who get exposure to a significant number of unique and repeat attendees over a multi-day event.

5 Lamb Après Mission of Lamb A. An event that includes the entire town from Gore Creek to Meadow Drive with all the merchants. B. Encourage visitors to be intrigued by food and wine while simultaneously exposing them to the sponsors and merchants who also represent the Vail lifestyle. C. Invite the restaurant community to set up food stations for attendees who may not eat lamb or who may want to supplement the culinary experience. D. Create an event that 9,000 people will attend. This takes the revenue for event from $27,000- to $40,0000.

6 Mountain Top Event Epitomizes the true Vail Lifestyle, bring participants to a picnic on the top of the mountain. Everyone who attends Mountain Top must meander through Lionshead. The event will be expanded to include “lifestyle” sponsors and vendors who would like representation at the picnic. Our objective is to increase the number of participating restaurants by 20%
