2. The animals I describe are pandas. They are very interesting animals. They live alone in bamboo forest in China.

3. Pandas live about 20-30 years. They eat mainly bamboo shoots and small rodents. They spend 16 hours on looking for food! Females have one baby every two years. Pregnancy lasts from 97 till 163 days.

4. Pandas are on the „red list”, because they are in danger of becoming extinct. There are only 1000 pandas in the world. People kill them for their beautiful fur. Another problem is bamboo withering – main food for pandas. They have problems with procreating, too. Females can hardly ever have babies. More pandas die than are born.

5. Curiosities Panda is logo of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). Pandas don’t hibernate. In China, there is death penatly for poachers trying to sell pandas.
