2 Fundraising at a glance 2014 (Key points): Fundraising for financial year (Jan to Dec) – GBP 63,911 vs GBP 31,396 in 2013 (Up 103%) Charity grants applied for: Novartis (await decision) Jeans for Genes (Successful) – GBP 10k awarded GSK King’s Fund (Unsuccessful) DBA UK Charity video Promotion of DBA ice bucket/singaway challenge Available merchandise expanded and now ordered in bulk (reduced cost). Letters sent to premier league football teams/other organisations (AFC, CFC, LFC).

5 Areas of focus in 2015 (Fundraising) Fundraising handbook/reference & protocol for all fundraisers Dedicated committee member for any large scale fundraising activities Continuation of corporate sponsorship/grant applications DBA UK Calendar/Christmas Cards DBA UK information leaflet/brochure to be updated DBA UK raffle (ticket sales) Investigate other sponsored events eg Brighton Marathon? Gimme 5 initiative to coincide with 15 th anniversary (22 nd July) ……………………………………………………………………………………………..Support, Research and Hope.

6 Where we need your help……. Continue to raise funds for DBA UK (family, friends, relatives, schools, clubs, workplace) However small the donation, it counts!
