5 What are the Pieces Made Of? TX. High School Requirements: High School course guides GPA (grade point average) begins in 9 th grade What Is a Credit? One credit = 1 full year in a class One half credit = 1 semester in a class To earn credit: Average must be 70% or higher Must have 90% attendance TX.
