3 Stress for Teens: During puberty there are a lot of hormonal changes that are stressors. A person's body actually CHANGES shape, sexual organs begin to function, new hormones are released in large quantities. Puberty is very stressful on your body and mind! 4 STRESS GOOD STRESS GOOD - Gets your pumped up for a soccer game -Motivates you to get things done -Gets your excited STRESS BAD STRESS BAD - Causes headaches, rashes, insomnia, stomach problems, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, overeating or forgetting to eat -Also leads to anxiety or panic attacks and depression
