3 Competences seen as required by pupils Pupils listed the following competences they want to improve: Communication skills creative thinking cooperation with other people active listening ability to influence others positively negotiation skills stress tolerance marketing skills openness to change personal manner reliability, patience, conscientiousness, sense of responsibility This project has been funded with the support from the European Commission (project no: 2 014-1-PL01-KA205-003656). 4 Competences seen as required by students The following skills were listed in the majority of analysed questionnaires: work motivation ability to make quick decisions working under time pressure change management ability openness to people and new challenges motivation to acquire new knowledge individually ability to advertise one’s skills teamwork and stress tolerance, communication analytic linguistic thinking organizational flexibility creativity ability to work in a team and under pressure consistency planning stress tolerance team management, openness to new challenges and people This project has been funded with the support from the European Commission (project no: 2 014-1-PL01-KA205-003656). 5 Copmetences required by employers Employers’ expectations index with reference to potential employees’ competences ranks as follows: Logical and independent thinking as well as commitment – 100% employers consider them as the most important Responsibility and openness to new knowledge as well as effective communication– 93.33% Teamwork creativity – 86.67 % Team cooperation, formulating and solving problems as well as loyalty- 80.00% Ethical conduct – 73,33% Information literacy – 66.67% Management and negotiations – 60% This project has been funded with the support from the European Commission (project no: 2 014-1-PL01-KA205-003656). 6 Competences assessed as low by employers According to opinion of employers in Poland, pupils should develop the following skills and competences: 1.Capacity to cooperate with people from different social groups and in senior positions 2.Ability to set and justify priorities 3.Analytic Competences 4.Negotiation skills 5.Problem formulation and solving skills 6.Interpersonal communication skills 7.Project management skills 8.Effective time management 9.Resourcefulness This project has been funded with the support from the European Commission (project no: 2 014-1-PL01-KA205-003656).
