1. Once Upon a Mattress

2. Last time, we went to Taipei American School to watch a musical which is called “Once Upon a Mattress”. The story goes like this: There was a prince who wanted to marry a princess, but his mother, the queen, didn’t want him to get married. She overprotected the prince and wanted him to stay with her forever. One day, a princess came!

3. In order to see if she’s a real princess, the queen gave her a test. She put a pea under twenty mattress and let the princess sleep on that; if she could feel the pea, then she was a real princess and can marry to the prince. At the end of the musical, the princess made it and she could marry to the prince. It was a great experience because most of us haven’t seen a musical before.

4. Everything seems perfect, such as the costumes, the lights, the music, and of course, the actors. After the performance, we talked to the TAS students who played in the musical and found that they were almost the same age as us! There are a lot of differences between us.
