TIME LIMIT– 30 seconds HOW? Using the speed bounce mat, stand sideways and jump from 2 feet to 2 feet. HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? As many as you can in 30 seconds SCORING 1 point each time you jump across BRONZE = 24 SILVER = 32 GOLD = 40 EQUIPMENT Speed bounce mat KS1 – mat without the barrier KS2 – mat and barrier of mini disc cones

2 CO-ORDINATION - clap and catch
TIME LIMIT– 30 seconds HOW? Throw a beanbag in the air and: - 1st go – clap once 2nd go – clap twice 3rd go – clap 3 times etc You MUST catch the bean bag after throwing It and before you progress to more claps. HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? As many as you can in time limit. SCORING Count the most number of claps between the throw and catch. KS1 – BRONZE = 2, SILVER = 3, GOLD = 4 KS2 - BRONZE = 2, SILVER = 4, GOLD = 6+ EQUIPMENT Beanbag CO-ORDINATION - clap and catch

3 MOVEMENT - sideways shuffle
Sidestep from mini cone 1>2>3>4>5>6*(>7>8). Touch each mini cone with your hand. Do NOT cross your feet TIME LIMIT – 30 seconds HOW? HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? One attempt will take less than 30 seconds so go back to the start and have another go. MOVEMENT - sideways shuffle SCORING 1 point scored each time you reach cone 6*/8. BRONZE = 3 SILVER = 4 GOLD = 5 EQUIPMENT 6/8 mini cones KS metres between 1 > 7 (and 2 > 8) and 2 metre between 1 > 2 etc KS1 – set up as for KS2, but only use 6* mini cones. q p o n m l k j

4 You have 5 beanbags. Throw one
TIME LIMIT– 30 seconds HOW? You have 5 beanbags. Throw one at a time at the “bulls eye target” mat. KS1 – stand 1.5 metres away from target KS2 – stand 2 metres away from target HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? Use all 5 beanbags once. SCORING Add up the total score. If the beanbag lands in 2 areas, you score the points that the majority of the beanbag lands in. BRONZE = 25 SILVER = 75 GOLD = 125 EQUIPMENT Target mat, 5 beanbags, line, tape measure. AIMING - beanbag darts KS1 start KS2 start

5 BALANCE - one legged balance
TIME LIMIT– 30 seconds HOW? Stand on one foot on the agility disc or the balance beam. Keep your “free leg” away from the grounded one. HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? Balance for 30 seconds SCORING 5 points = do not touch floor = GOLD 4 points = touch floor x = GOLD 3 points = touch floor x = SILVER 2 points = touch floor x = SILVER 1 point = touch floor x 4 or 5 = BRONZE EQUIPMENT Agility disc, balance beam BALANCE - one legged balance

TIME LIMIT– 30 seconds HOW? Start at cone with beanbag on head. Walk around 2nd cone and back to start with beanbag on head. If you drop the beanbag, you must go back to the previous cone. HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? Keep walking around cones for 30 seconds SCORING 1 point each time you get back to the 1st cone KS2 - BRONZE = 2, SILVER = 3, GOLD = 4 KS1 - BRONZE = 1, SILVER = 2, GOLD = 3 EQUIPMENT 2 cones, tape measure, beanbag. Distance between cones = 6metres BALANCE - beanbag on head 1 2

7 AIMING - beanbag golf hoops
TIME LIMIT– 30 seconds HOW ? You have 8 beanbags. There will be 4 hoops. Aim to throw 2 beanbags into each hoop. If 3 beanbags land in one hoop, only 2 will score. HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? 1 attempt using all 8 beanbags SCORING 1 point for each beanbag in a hoop, or touching the inside of the hoop. BRONZE =2 SILVER = 4 GOLD = 6 EQUIPMENT 4 hoops, 8 beanbags, line, tape measure. KS1 – larger hoops (76/94cm) KS2 – smaller hoops (48cm) Centre of 1st hoop is 1 metre from start, centre of 4th hoop is 4 metres from start AIMING - beanbag golf hoops

TIME LIMIT – 30 seconds HOW ? Start 4 metres away from bench (KS1) Start 5 metres away from bench (KS2) Roll or kick a ball against a bench HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? 5 attempts SCORING 3 point for yellow area 2 points for red area 1 points for blue area BRONZE = 6 SILVER = 9 GOLD = 12 EQUIPMENT Bench, ball, line, tape measure, AIMING - roll for goal

One attempt will take less than 30 seconds, so go back to the start and have another go. SCORING 1 point for each complete slalom run. BRONZE = 2 SILVER = 3 GOLD = 4 EQUIPMENT 8 cones, tape measure KS2 - 6 metres between 1 > 7 (and 2 > 8) and 1 metre between 1 > 2 etc KS1 – as for KS2, but only a 6* cone slalom MOVEMENT - cone slalom

TIME LIMIT – 30 seconds HOW? Two footed jumps from spot to spot HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? One attempt will take less than 30 seconds, so go back to the start and have another go. SCORING 1 point each time they jump from 1st to last spot. 11 CO-ORDINATION - pass around the body
TIME LIMIT – 30 seconds HOW? Stand on a spot and pass the ball around your waist HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? As many as you can in time limit. If the ball touches the floor you can start again. SCORING 1 point for each time the ball goes around your body. You will score your highest accumulated score. KS2 - BRONZE = 5, SILVER = 10, GOLD = 15 KS1 - BRONZE = 4, SILVER = 8, GOLD = 12 EQUIPMENT KS1 – mini play ball, size cm KS2 – size cm (size 3) CO-ORDINATION - pass around the body

12 Stand on the mat and put the beanbags,
TIME LIMIT – 30 seconds HOW? Stand on the mat and put the beanbags, one at a time, into the middle of the same coloured mini discs. HOW MANY ATTEMPTS? One attempt using all beanbags. SCORING GOLD = 12 (8) beanbags on cones SILVER = 10 (6) beanbags on cones BRONZE = 8 (4) beanbags on cones EQUIPMENT Mat, KS beanbags (3 of each colour), 12 mini discs (3 of each colour) set out as above KS1 – 8 beanbags (4 of each colour), 8 mini discs (4 of each colour) set out as north, north east, east, south east, south, south west, west and north west.
