7 Improving Budget Focus on corporate sponsorship and non- dues income Several meetings with major corporations throughout the world Foundations outside of JCI Long Term Process 2007 Budget is on track

8 Starting New Chapters We started new LOMs throughout world Provided a new resource – the “How to Start a Local Organization Guide” Focus by JCI Officers on new chapter development and total coverage in NOMs Have over 5,300 chapters now including those under 20 members

9 Increasing JCI Membership JCI Officers focus on recruitment during all visits and lead by example Focus on starting new chapters Development Council work on new NOMs 2 nd consecutive year of increased members for JCI

10 Provide Superior Customer Service Internal and External Customers Strong Communication JCI Staff restructure Attention to detail Continue to update Website Add email addresses to JCI email listings to get information out – increase from 16,000 to 36,000

14 Achievement of growth by identifying areas of opportunity within current NOM bases Review current chapter locations and distribution throughout the country Encourage geographic diversity for new chapters Stress importance of being present in each and every part of a country

15 Expansion of JCI into New Countries JCI Officers and Area Directors focus Effective Development Councils New NOMs for 2007: –Maldives, Tanzania, Uruguay, Moldova –Working toward Malawi, Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chile, Spain, Cambodia, Fiji

16 Continue our Brand Positioning Be Better sessions at all Area Conferences All material produced by JCI HQ and for JCI events 100% compliant JCI Staff and Officers encourage proper branding in all NOMs and LOMs Encourage use of JCI Website

17 Continue Development of Internal Policies and Procedures to Efficiently Manage JCI JCI Secretary General, our JCI Staff, and I are regularly meeting on this and consistently looking for things to make JCI more efficient.

18 Continue to Implement and Improve the Financial Reporting and Budgeting Process Monthly financial statements sent to JCI President, SG, Treasurer and Audit Chair Quarterly financial statements to GA and JCI Board Planning on line Annual Report Clean audit with good recommendations to follow in the future

19 Reasons for Success in 2007 Strong and committed JCI Team and Staff Focused on big goals – Members and $$$ Professionalism Committed JCI Appointed Officers Increased and Direct Communication Focus on LOMs Using all Resources Teamwork and low egos

20 BE BETTER! We must always look for ways to BE BETTER in everything that we do, and especially in serving our members and providing them with all that they need to achieve their goals. We do this by listening, acting, walking the talk, and maintaining a servant leadership attitude.
