We have less: -STR71x: 6 mandatory, 11 max -STR75x: 9 Mandatory, 20 max Innovative Peripheral DMA controller Our DMA in STR750 are more powerfull with burst transfers and circular buffer management. We have less channels but we have enough for the peripherals that need DMA (SPI, ADC, Timers) High Speed communication channels Higher speed SPI 25Mb/s Higher speed UART 25Mb/s This is overkill: 25Mb/s UART. We have what the customer will really use. SPI 8MB/s (71x) 16MB/s (75x) Uart 1MB/s (71x) 2MB/s (75x) Integrated Power-on reset One additional reset component needed (15cts) BUT more reliable (Actual Atmel bug is related to the reset circuit) and more flexible. 5V tolerant IOsSTR750 can operate at 5V (5V capable)
