Urinary System The urinary system is also known as excretory system. It consists of: 2 Kidneys 2 Ureters 1 Bladder 1 Urethera

Urinary System  Kidneys where urine is formed to carry away waste materials from the blood.  Ureters, which transport urine from the kidneys.  Bladder, where the urine is stored until it can be eliminated.  Urethera through which the bladder is emptied to the outside through the process of urination.

Urinary System Urinary system main function is to maintain fluid volume and composition of the body fluids. This function is achieved by filtering fluids out of the bloodstream and through tubules of the kidneys. Waste products leave the body in the form of urine, and the needed substances are returned to the blood.

Urinary System The kidneys require large blood supply and connected close to the main artery of the blood, (THE AORTA).

Reproductive System

The reproduction system uses the process of producing a new generation. This process is achieved by the fusion of two cells from different individuals (ovum + sperm). “fertilization” This fusion is called “fertilization” and is achieved by sexual intercourse between a male and a female. (SPERM). The male body is designed to allow the manufacture, storage and transfer of male sex cells (SPERM). (OVA). The female body is designed to manufacture, store and release eggs (OVA). “implantation”, Once the sperm fertilizes the egg, it attaches itself to the walls of the uterus and begins to grow. This is called “implantation”, followed by pregnancy. The zygote will become am embryo and then a fetus.

Reproductive System Female reproductive system: It consists of 2 parts:  The external genitalia  The internal genitalia.

Reproductive System The external genitalia The external genitalia consists of the: Mons pupis Labia majora. Labia minora. Vulva. Clitoris

Reproductive System The internal genitalia The internal genitalia consists of: Ovaries. Fallopian tubes. Uterus. Vagina.

Reproductive System The breasts are also included in the reproductive system of the female because they develop to become the feeding station of the new-born baby. The average female’s ovaries contain about two million eggs. Each egg contain genetic code of countless generations of human beings. When a female is born, she is born with all of the eggs she is going to have for life. When she is mature, she begins sending eggs down the fallopian tubes from the ovaries into the uterus. If the egg is not fertilized, they are passed as blood (menstruation).

Reproductive System Male reproductive system It consists of:  Penis  Testicles  Excretory ducts  Accessory organs consists of:  Prostate  Seminal vesicles

Reproductive System When a boy reaches a mature age, his body changes and he develops the ability to make and hold millions of sperm cells. These cells are made in the two testicles. “Testosterone”. Inside the testicles, there is a hormone called “Testosterone”. Testosterone is very important in making the sperm, which is needed to reproduce.

Reproductive System In the male, several organs serve as parts of both the urinary tract and the reproduction system.
