2 Introduction The purpose of this webinar is to describe how to properly specify a coating system for a specific substrate, structure, and environment by specifying specific industry standards, training and certifications to ensure a quality project.

3 What is a Specification?
A detailed coating specification is a complex and sometimes confusing document to navigate. Yet, it is the rulebook for QC and QA personnel responsible for inspecting work.

The purpose of this report is to describe some best practices for preparing and administering a quality specification for application of high performance protective coatings and linings for the wastewater industry.

The concrete structures found in wastewater facilities are exposed to conditions that can lead to rapid deterioration of the concrete surface. It is of utmost importance to evaluate the conditions of the existing structure using a combination of visual inspection and non-destructive testing

8 Concrete Coating Assessment Guide
This technical guide is a field tool for use by concrete coating professionals when assessing the condition of coating systems over concrete surfaces being evaluated for maintenance and repair coating. It is organized according to the steps typically followed in concrete coating condition assessment and contains a special section of color illustrations to support identification of various concrete conditions that may be encountered in the field.

This course is designed to train applicators in the application of protective coatings by airless spray using plural component spray equipment.  The program focus is on the application of two component high solids, polyurethanes and polyurea coatings in a marine/industrial environment on steel or concrete.
