10. The passage below is a letter written by Chicago resident Abbey Perkins and is taken from the “Voice to the People” section of the Chicago Sun- Times. In the piece, Perkins describes her experience with the rash of gun violence that occurred in Chicago in 2012 and 2013. Read the passage carefully. Then, in a well-written essay, analyze how the rhetorical strategies that Perkins uses reveal her purpose as well as her response to the gun violence.
