4. A technique RFLP analysis is used to find an identical DNA sequence in an orange and an apple. This technique consists of the following steps: 1. The fragments are then sequenced using two DNA probes to find complementary sequences in the DNA of an orange and of an apple. 5. The complementary DNA sequences are combined and replicated using the Polymerase Chain Reaction technique. 6. The new DNA sequences produce via the PCR are then inserted into a vector where they are cloned using cDNA.

6. Once the new DNA has been cloned, it is inserted into eukaryotic a cell that will replicate itself. The replicating cells will form a seed. This seed is then planted and will eventually grow into a tree, an applorange tree, that will produce the magnificent applorange.
