20 Panning  The camera is stationary and moves horizontally from left to right, or right to left.  Can follow a moving object or character, or establish the surroundings of a scene.

21 Tilting  The camera is stationary and tilts on a vertical plane – looking up or looking down.  Can ‘look’ a character or object from the base up or head down.

22 Dolly and Tracking shots  A dolly is a wheeled vehicle on tracks that has the camera secured to it.  It is used to move the camera around in a scene.  Also used to ‘track’ a character or object.

23 Crane or Boom shots  The camera is attached to the crane or boom and enables the director to produce dramatic footage.

24 Steadicam a steadicam allows the camera operator more freedom to move around and follow a character or action.
