4 Graphics Allows educator to create, edit, or enhance digital images (drawings, photos, graphs) to clarify, illustrate, and enhance instruction

5 Reference Digital collections of masses of data (text, images, sounds, videos) usually on CD- ROM/DVD-ROM allowing hyperjump access to any point

6 Tutorials (Drill & Practice) Tutorials present new material with opportunities for student practice or review D & P reinforces content, usually with instant feedback

7 Educational Games Use “game” format to present and review instructional content, improving interest level due to entertainment value

8 Simulations Interactive situations Students act/decide, and system updates situation for student immediately based on actions/input

9 Special Needs Addresses student’s requirements when special needs are result of physical or learning challenges
