1 Spaghetti Made Simple By Harry Andrew and Alex

2 Ingredients 3.25 pounds of meat, 93% lean ground beef Table spoon of olive oil Quarter teaspoon ground pepper Half teaspoon salt Quarter teaspoon garlic powder Three pounds spaghetti, Italian classics Two jars of 48 ounces Prego traditional spaghetti sauce

3 Cooking Directions divide meat into 37 meatballs add olive oil to pan stick meatballs into sauté pan sprinkle salt pepper and garlic powder on top put lid on pan leave on for around fifteen minutes on medium bring water to a boil add a teaspoon of salt cook for eleven minutes once meatballs are finished take pan off stove and let cool briefly pour sauces on top let it simmer for five minutes poor pasta out and drain, poor meatballs on top serves 37

8 Our Meal Idea Our main inspiration for this project was to come up with a meal that utilized all of the main food groups. We picked spaghetti and meatballs because you have carbs from the pasta, vegetables, vitamins and sugars from the sauce, and protein from the meat. This meal is very balanced in means of proteins, carbs and fats. Making it a very nutritious meal to eat.

9 Carbs Carbs give you energy. In the meal the pasta has a lot of carbs, 2g fiber 2g sugars, and 37g starch. This would be a perfect meal if you need long term energy. Also the sauce has 10g sugars for a quick boost of energy

10 Proteins The proteins in this dish come mainly from the meat and a little from the pasta. On average a human has to have 30g of protein a day and this dish gives you around 15g

11 Fat The fat in this dish comes from the meat and olive oil. Around half of the fats come from polyunsaturated and monounsaturated, and these fats lower your L.D.L and raise your H.D.L. Besides this there is very little fat in the dish.

12 Nutritious Foods Can Taste Good Many people may say nutritious foods don’t taste as good as unhealthy foods, but certain foods can be nutritious and tasty like the pasta
