4. 4 Revision of existing draft using JPI (EC) template A core group for preparing the new draft proposal, (Austria, Italy, The Netherlands, Romania and Spain). The editing of the proposal is based on the existing proposal, the comments of the European Commission and the SRA of the WSSTP To focus the proposal on the challenges in the following areas: Drinking water, process water, waste water, interactions with natural systems and non technological issues such as social, political and economical issues. To move common challenges in the direction of common research agendas (WSSTP, EWP) More coherence in the European research and development in water technology is needed Create an European level playing field.
