4. Edgar Allan Poe was born in Boston in January 19, 1809.his parents name was David and Elizabeth Poe. When Edgar was 2 years old his mother died. Edgar was adopted by the Allan family. When he was 6 years old he attended school in England for 5 years.in 1826 he attended the university of Virginia when he was 17. he went to Boston and joined the army at 18 years old. In 1829 Mrs. Allan died and Mr. Allan tried to be reasonably nice toward Edgar and signed Edgar’s application to west point.in 1831 Edgar went to New York City and published some poetry.in 1834 John Allan died and did not mention Edgar in his will at all.

5. In 1835 got a job as a news paper editor. When he was 27 years old he married his cousin when she was 13 years old.in 1845 Poe became an editor for the Broadway journal. In June of 1849 Poe left new york for Philadelphia. Edgar Allan Poe died on Sunday, October 7,1849.

6. How I think Poe died was a over dose on drugs. I think this because maybe he was depressed because of events earlier on in his life. That is what I think on the reason he died.

7. My favorite Poe story was the tell tale heart. This is my favorite one because it is suspenseful. And it has that scary creepy felling to it. This story is my favorite because it makes you want to know what's going to happen next. It makes you wonder what the guys eyelo
