3. The Story of the “Rob the Rectangle’s Adventure” Rob the Rectangle lives in a geometric neighborhood. Every shape family has a geometric shaped house! Rob the Rectangle just moved to Shape Town with his family. Today was his first day of school. When school got out, he forgot how to get back to his rectangle house! He is scared and needs your help! He needs to find his way through all of the shapes of the neighborhood to get back to this rectangle house and his rectangle family! 4. Game Directions The goal of the game is to help Rob the Rectangle find his way home! To play the game you have to click on one of the questions and try to answer it. If you answer it correctly, you roll the dice to see how many spaces you get to move along the board. To win the game you have to be the first person to get Rob the Rectangle back to his rectangle house where his mom and dad are waiting for him! Return

5. Game Preparation Gameboard: Print out slides 9-12, cut off the edges, then tape together to create the game board. You might want to mount it on a poster board to make it more durable. Shape guide: Print out slide 14 for every player. This sheet will help the student to identify the name of the shape by looking at the actual shape. Game pieces: Print out slide 5 and cut out each piece. Glue on card stock or poster board to make the pieces sturdy.
