5. Infra structures in the department of anatomy A huge dissection hall, Room No. 141, dissection days are on every Sunday and Thursday, between 10.45-12.45pm. As & when required on Wednesdays between 2.30-4.40pm. 50 students are divided into 2 groups, roll no. 1-25 are “A” batch students. Roll No. 26-50 are in “B” batch students. 12/5/20155

7. The faculty involved in taking these modules are Dr. Ansari will take basic concepts, upper limb and lower limb modules. Dr. Anand will be covering Gastrointestinal system module. Dr. Kumar will be taking cardiovascular and Respiratory modules. Dr. Lubna will be covering the Embryology module. Dr. Omar will be taking histology module. 12/5/20157

8. During semester I the didactic lectures Are taken in room no 232, first floor. The lecture days are Tuesday (1.30-2.30pm); Thursday (9.30-10.30am); and Monday (9.30- 10.30am). All the lectures to be delivered are available on the web page of the university. The students are advised to download these power points and read and come prepared for the topics, well in advance. 12/5/20158

9. The histology lab exercises Run parallel with the dissection hall exercises, When “A” batch visits the dissection hall, the same day “B” batch will be doing the histology practical. Please bring histology records and the Histology atlas during the histology practical hours. The histology lab room no. is 139. The histology prelab is delivered in room no. 140. White lab coats are essential for all lab exercises. 12/5/20159

10. Museum Room no. 138 is having museum, it contains models, specimens and embryology models and charts. Students can spend their self study hours in the museum. Bones can be borrowed from the department for study purposes. Bone lending faculty in-charge is Dr. Omar. 12/5/201510

11. Osteology demonstration classes All Wednesdays between, 2.30-4.30 pm there will be osteology demonstration classes. Bones of upper limb will be covered first later lower limb bones and thoracic bones will be covered. There will be imaging studies for the bones and internal organs. During examination there are stations for osteology and imaging studies. 12/5/201511

12. Each dissection batch group Is further divided into four more subgroups. For each module one of the teaching faculty will be supervising each sub group. The cadaver, the faculty remains stationary only the subgroups are rotated at the time of each module change. 12/5/201512

13. Mid semester examination Are going to schedule from 21 st of November to 25 th November 2010. The theory will be having 2 hrs. duration and OSPE for 1 hr. duration. There will be 60 mcqs and 5 r.r.e. questions for 50 marks. There will be review of solved papers after the examination one-on-one basis. 12/5/201513

14. Weekly learning outcomes Are given in anatomy course well in advance at the beginning of the course. After completion of that week the learning outcomes are matched with the given WLO. Any difficulty in attaining or acquiring these WLO, any teaching faculty in the department of anatomy can be approached for assistance. 12/5/201514

15. There will be quizzes during the Semester-I, the topics and duration will be informed before hand. There are assignments to be done and submitted at a particular time, this carries marks for the continuous assessment. There will be PBL one topic every week, it is to be reviewed the next week by presentation from each group. 12/5/201515

16. Discipline during learning period No use of mobile phones during lectures/practical exercises. No one is allowed to enter the lab with out white lab coat. No drinks or eatables allowed during lectures/lab exercises. No photography allowed during dissection hours. Students are not allowed to leave or enter the lecture halls or labs during running sessions. 12/5/201516
