Objectives: The purpose of this course is to teach student the concept of Industrial Safety & provide useful practical knowledge for workplace safety which helps identification, evaluation, and control of all the hazards and potential hazards to prevent or mitigate harm or damage to people, property, or the environment. Learning Outcomes: Students completing this course should be able to: Identify hazard and potential hazard areas. Develop safety programs to prevent or mitigate damage or losses. Assess safety practices and programs. Conduct safety audits. Improve safety practices.
