5 Goals  We want our students to become independent learners who apply the student profile and attitudes in their daily life.  We will work to promote the development of the whole person: academically, ethically, socially, aesthetically, and physically.

6 The Five Essential Elements of the Primary Years Programme To achieve a balance in learning, the PYP emphasizes the five parts of the written curriculum which are called the Essential Elements of the curriculum. These five elements are concepts, knowledge, skills, attitudes and action.

10 International Day  International Day is introduced in Grade 3 to celebrate different cultures and to promote tolerance and open- mindedness. Grade 3 to celebrate different cultures and to promote tolerance and open- mindedness.  Your cooperation and assistance are both highly appreciated to make this event a success.

11 International is a celebration of different cultures around the world.

12 Content subject matters are integrated within our transdisciplinary themes.  Math Strands: -Numbers -Pattern and Function -Measurement -Space & Shape -Data Handling  Language Strands: - Listening/Speaking - Reading/Writing - Viewing/Presenting

13 Home Learning  Daily homework is about 50 minutes for all assignments.  Parents’ role is to: -provide a proper environment conducive to learning -supervise the child’s work -Check the agenda for notes.
