3. Dress Simple style, mostly homemade Women wore long dresses and bonnets or caps, while men wore suits with knee breeches, long jackets, round hats and modest cravats.

4. Work Railroads built across the country Farms with livestock Factories after industrial revolution provided a lot of work for people up North.

5. Tools Farmers used new tools like the mechanical reaper to speed up production. New machines in factories industrialized America.
