3 Core QETF Questions: What does Rice have to do well in order to fulfill its mission of quality education and unsurpassed teaching? What elements are essential to quality education at Rice? What limits the quality of teaching in your dept.? What is your dept. doing to further student’s education outside classrooms? What is your dept. doing right? What are you proud of? What could your department do better? Is your dept. better than “X” peer university’s dept. and how would you know? What metrics are best to assess teaching and education in your program for undergrads and grads?
