1 Feudalism Simulation!!!

2  Monarch walks in a stately manner and sits on the throne.  All subjects bow their head in honor of their King and/or Queen  Monarch begins enjoying the items that have been provided.

3  Serfs gets his/her assigned manor and sits on the floor near their manors.  Serfs hold onto one leg of a desk.  Serfs follow directions on their handouts to begin producing food for the manor.

4  Lords and nobles kneel before the monarch and request land.  Monarch dictates the oath of fealty to each lord or noble.  Monarch gives a fief token to each lord or noble.

5  Lords sit on a desk at their manors.  Lords demand payment from each serf.  Lords collect 8 M&Ms each time a serf collects his/her “harvest.”

6  Knights go to their lord to gain permission to live on their manor.  After accepting an agreement from a lord, knights kneel at the lord’s feet.  Lords dictate the oath of fealty to the knights.  Knights accept fief from lords.

7  Serfs arrange desks at the manor to create for corners of a castle.  Knights connect desks with string and tape to create alls for the castle.  Knights and nobles pay for shields, horses, weapons, and castle with M&Ms collected from serfs.

8  Monarch, lords, knights, and serfs huddle at center of their castles.  Teachers attacks manors by gently lobbing balls of paper into the castles.  Knights use books to prevent the balls of paper from striking lords and serfs in their castles.
