4 A. John Calvin and other Reformation leaders began new Protestant Churches

6 I. Calvin Begins Another Protestant Church

7 A. John Calvin born in France, taught in Switzerland Calvin, John (1509-1564)

8 B. 1536 published a book called Institutes of the Christian Religion

9 1. Calvin’s ideas about God, Salvation and Human Nature

10 2. Protestant theology

11 C. Men and women are sinful by nature

12 D. Predestination, God has already chosen who would and would not be saved
