2. Word 1: Notorious Def: Famous for something bad Sent: Billy was notorious for sticking weird things in the teachers’ coffee.

3. Word 2: Corridor Def: A hallway Sent: Students gathered in the corridor hoping to find out that Mr. Bob would not return to teach at their school.

4. Word 3:Glisten Def: Gleaming, patches of light shining off it Sent: Billy watched the sun glisten off the lake as he thought of how to get out of Mr. Bob’s class.

5. Word 4: Impress Def: To cause a feeling of admiration or that something is wonderful Sent: Mr. Bob thought he was an impressive teacher, but students found him quite boring.

6. Word 5: Hideous Def: Ugly and disgusting Sent: Billy’s dog looked hideous with half its fur gone and only one eye that could see.
