3. Remember that to ask a question, the subject follows the verb.
¿Qué está comiendo el hombre?
What is the man eating.
¿Adónde va el perro?
To where is the dog going.
¿Cuándo va usted a declarar los impuestos?
When are you going to file your taxes?

4. ¿Qué está encima de la mesa? ¿Cuál es tu carro?
Sometimes we don’t know the subject. In this case, the interrogative serves that purpose.
¿Quién comió mi taco?
Who ate my taco?
¿Qué está encima de la mesa?
What is on the table?
¿Cuál es tu carro?
Which is your car?
