“Improvised Magnetic Turbine: Conversion of Hazardous Carbon Compounds From Burnt Non- recyclable Waste Materials”
3
Fossil fuel use is the primary source of CO 2. The way in which people use land is also an important source of CO 2, especially when it involves deforestation.
4
Land can also remove CO 2 from the atmosphere through reforestation, improvement of soils, and other activities. Factories in China and other rising economies now produce more carbon pollution than industries in America and Europe.
5
All this talk about reducing carbon dioxide emissions is something that we hear time and time again. We heard it during the totally disappointing Conference of the Parties on Climate Change last year in Lima,
6
at the climate march held in many cities in the world, after Pope Francis’ visit last month to typhoon-ravaged Tacloban, Philippines and in US President Barack Obama’s call to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.
7
In the year 2013, the Department of Education sponsored a program YES (Youth for Environment Summer) Camp in Baguio City concerning the mitigation of the Climate Change due to excessive emission of Carbon Dioxide.
8
The delegation of Teachers and students from CARAGA REGIONAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL was challenged to take a response in the call for the environmental change since the school is experiencing the uncontrolled proliferation of waste like non- recyclable materials.
9
And so the researchers were able to come up with the proposed study entitled, “Magnetic Turbine: Carbon Dioxide Converter From Burnt Non-recyclable Waste Materials”.
10
Statement of the Problem The study entitled “Improvised Magnetic Turbine: Conversion of Carbon Compounds From Burnt Non-recyclable Waste Materials” will seeks to answer the following questions;
11
1. Does the Improvised Magnetic Turbine effective in Converting the Carbon Compounds to Carbon dioxide in terms of emission test?
12
2. Is there any significant difference between the converted carbon compounds and the non-converted carbon compounds in terms of the greenhouse effect?
13
The study entitled, “Improvised Magnetic Turbine: Conversion of Carbon Compounds From Burnt Non-recyclable Waste Materials” will benefits the following people;
14
Local Government: It will give an idea to the government officials to conduct an advocacy program regarding the impact of the carbon Dioxide to the health of the inhabitants and to give allocation to finance the project
15
in order to lessen the problem related to carbon dioxide as pollutant. They will be able to draft an ordinance for the violators on the said advocacy.
16
Residents: They will not suffer the effects of the pollution due to Carbon Dioxide.
17
School: The school will be able to solve if not reduce the improper Solid Waste Management.
18
Future Researchers: From the recommendation of the paper, the future researchers will be able to gain insights and improve the study later on.
19
Gathering of Materials: Magnets Metal sheet Copper Wire Any non-recyclable waste like tetra packs and the like Battery
20
Procedure: The researchers will assemble the turbine using the magnets, circular flat metal sheet, the copper wire and the battery. After assembling the device, the researchers will ensure that the device will run just like a water turbine. The device will be set aside; the researchers will burn plastics from the CRSHS canteen.
21
Using the fume hood, the smoke coming from the burn garbage will be collected. In the fume hood, the improvised device will be attached. The turbine will convert the hazard carbon compounds into carbon dioxide.

The researchers are now ready to entertain relevant questions.....
