1.  If you visit Taibao city, there is something you cannot miss. That is a luxury building and it is called "Phoenix". The building is bright at night as the picture shows. Because it is so magnificent that this building has become a landmark in the neighborhood. Living there is convenient because there are many shops nearby such as bakeries, the fruit shop, restaurants, bookstores, beverage store and snack bar, etc. If you come here, you may wish to take the opportunity to take a look at this magnificent building.

3.  In Chia-yi ‘’square cookies’’ is a very special kind of food. This kind of food features its exterior shape. It is made of flour,butter or oil,sesame and sugar. In early times, square cookies originate in Chiayi Min Guo Rd. where there is famous for selling noodles, cakes, or something made of flour. At first, square cookies only have one kind of flavor but now there are many kinds of flavors for many people to choose. For example, some contains lotus seed, yam while others include lemon, dried codfish, egg, green tea, black sugar or laver.

5.  The National Palace Museum is going to build a southern branch in the County of Chia-yi. This museum will focus on the theme of Asian art and culture, providing a place for visitors to explore the Asia where we live. As you can see in the previous picture “Vision House" is a very large exhibition pavilion. It displays the process of planning to build the branch, designed drawings, architectural models and significant indicator examples of foreign museums. What impressed me most is that the roof is covered with grass. Tourists can climb the roof of grass to take a look, and experience of the NPM Southern vision of the future.

6.  The culture and leisure industry is gradually being prosperous around the Southern NPM, and there is a surge of immigrants into this city. It will make Chiayi County, an agricultural county become a shining star. I think people in Chia-yi will be proud of it..

8.  If you want to pray for god or goddess. Pay-Ten temple is the best choice. People go there to wish good luck, health and prosperity. There is always full of people and tourists. Since Lantern Festival is coming, visitors went there to see the local lantern, which was splendid.  When you walked into the temple, you found the Buddha and the gods inside. There you will find out that your heart become clean and pure. It must be a special experience especially for foreigner visitors.

Chang Gung Memorial Hospital  The structure in the previous picture is Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.The construction Chang Gung Memorial Hospital of in Taibao City, Chia-yi, provides more job opportunities than before, which bring more people to this city.Yung-Ching Wang, founder of the hospital invested more than about two hundred and sixty million NT dollars. He aims to integrate acute and chronic medical care.  Besides, the founder has also established a health center in order to improve the elderly’s life quality.

What impress visitors most is that this city share the characteristics of country and modern life.
