3 When you hear the phrase “technology integration” what does that mean to you? It means that you are using more than one type of technology at a time. Each student would have their own computer station, giving them access to on-line libraries and information processing at their desk. Things that used to take a long time, like math calculations or writing an essay, now go so much faster with technology. I can work faster. 9 How would you assess your teachers' integration of technology into the classroom? Some are definitely more interested in adding technology than others. 10 Do you feel that integration of technology into your classrooms has had a positive impact on your achievement? If so, how? Yes, definitely. 11 Can you provide any recommendations to improve access to and use of technology in your local classroom? Increase the number of points where students can access technology, without sharing. 12 Can you describe a good example of a lesson that uses technology? We used calculators to determine the velocity of airplanes in relation to each other. We also plotted data using Excel. I would have computers or laptops always available for each student to make the tedious jobs that take away from learning easier.
