Equator is An imaginary line that goes around the middle of the earth
This Unit is about Tropical Rainforest Animals but first lets find out where the tropical rainforest is located.
The tropical rainforests are located near the equator. Below are some countries where they are found….
Central America
The Amazon
Australia
Southern Asia
Africa

3. Tropical Rainforest Ecosystem and Climate?
Emegents – houses birds in tops of the tallest trees
Canopy – houses insects and birds in its thick leafy branches
Understory – located under the leaves and houses most of the shrubs, insects, mammals and reptiles
Forest Floor-Most of the wildlife and larger animals live here

It rains almost everyday in the rainforest
The average temperature is 75 to 80 degrees
