Virtual Reiki Circle for Animals Rev. Lisa Shaw, R.M.

The Reiki energy being sent to your animal companion is self-directed. You need not do anything; just let it flow from the sender to the receiver.

Still your mind and add your own healing energies and prayers to the session, relax,, close your eyes, breathe deeply, and tune in.

To help you relax, try rhythmic breathing. It will take your away from scattered thoughts and allow you to focus and center.

Inhale deeply through your nose. Hold it for 4 seconds. Then exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds. Repeat the process. You grow more relaxed and receptive as you continue to breathe this way.

Hold the image of your animal clearly in your mind and visualize on the healing energy reaching him or her.

You can read the names of those people and animals in the circle, imagining the energy reaching us all. Or you can just sit in the stillness alongside your animal companion and receive the energy. You can visualize an animal already in spirit and feel the connection.

If you are successful at open-eyed meditation, focus on the next image of the candle, and create your own mantra to let in more Light and send more Light.

The next few slides contain the sacred Reiki healing symbols which help to transmit the energy. While only certified Reiki practitioners can use these, attuning yourself to their energy will enhance your experience in the circle.
