Remember that HE, SHE, IT always need the “S” in the PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

3 PRESENT SIMPLE  Negative  He, she, it  Superheroes!  She doeSn’t play basketball everyday.  He doeSn’t go cycling.  I, you, we, they  not superheroes!  You don’t know the answer.  They don’t go surfing.

4 PRESENT SIMPLE  QUESTION  He, she, it  Superheroes  Does she like swimming?  Does he sing well?  I, we, you, they  not superheroes!  Do you like cooking?  Do they go on excursion every year?

5 PRESENT CONTINOUS  Person + to be + verb ING  I am dancing/ I am not dancing / Are you dancing?  She is swimming / She isn’t swimming / Is she swimming  They are cooking / They aren’t cooking / Are they cooking?

6 PAST SIMPLE: VERB TO BE  I, he, she, it  was / wasn’t  I was very happy to see you there.  She wasn’t at a party, she was at the doctor. Was she in class?  We, you they  were / weren’t  They were good friends.  We weren’t tired, but we walked a lot. Were they on excursion?

11 Remember!  The negative and question forms in past simple are the same for REGULAR AND IRREGULAR VERBS.  I didn’t go to the cinema (irregular)  She didn’t watch a film (regular)  The difference is with past simple postive sentences!  I went to the cinema (irregular)  I watched a film (regular)
