9 Exams Essay-type questions First midterm: the first eight (April 8) Second midterm: the second eight (May 13) No final exam and thus no re-sit exam Make-up exam only if applied within one week after the exam with documentation No make-up for group or individual participation studies in the class 9

10 Attendance and participation The students who miss 8 (eight) sessions will fail automatically Come prepared Listen to the lecture and contribute to the following discussion Bring your book to the class Have a look at the end-of-chapter questions Share personal experiences Be critical 10
