4 The secret is out about Re-Targeting EVERYONE is doing it Go to TripAdvisor and click any hotel Go to Nike, Ford, Coca Cola Go to your local car dealers website (even some of your larger real estate offices websites) It will be hard not to get the feeling they are “following” you around

5 Think about how you “feel” about your own purchases or the people you do business with For arguments sake: You are thinking about getting a pool dug in the back yard. What is your first step? (I’m Google searching to see what all is involved, especially cost) I will look at the first 4 or 5 results Google gives or refine my search terms. Are you only looking at 1 source?

6 After you have done your first research you set it aside (we all do =)) How would you “feel” is you all of a sudden noticed one of the pool company’s you clicked on had an ad right on Facebook Not only did it have an ad on Facebook but you see it literally every time you are on When it’s time to pick back up the pool thing, what will your next step be?

8 Start by getting the Website Custom Audience set up Even if you are not ready to run a Re-Targeted ad At least start building the audience Start by going to the Ad’s Manager on Facebook

9 Drop down the Tools menu and select Audiences

10 Drop down the Create Audiences menu and select Custom Audience

11 Select the Website Traffic Option

12 To start with just use the Anyone who visits your website option (as you build your audience you will create some for specific pages of your website) Change the “In the last” to 180 days (this is maximum allowed) Give your audience a name (add a description if you like) Then click create audience

14 Now you need to set up the “cookie” on your website This is what allows Facebook to identify individual website visitors and add them to your audience Click the check box by the name of your WCA

15 Now that it is active, drop down the actions menu Click View Pixel

16 Copy the Pixel Code provided

17 If you have a website administrator, email the following Hello Mr. Computer Guy, Please paste the following Pixel Code between the header code on my website. I am creating a custom audience from website visitors and need this code to accomplish that. (paste your code) Thank you in advance.

18 If you manage your own You will need to paste the code in the header section of your website Specifically between the and in your website code

19 If you are stuck on this part please let me know I can help you get through this It is a ONE TIME EVENT!!!!!!!! Once the Pixel code is on the website’s header section you are collecting visitors

21 Paste the short code after the Pixel code in the header section

22 Facebook has only one rule when it comes to serving ad’s to your website visitors You must have a minimum of 25 people to run an ad (that’s the same rule with any audience not just WCA) Spend $5 on Fiverr.com and buy 100 visitors No they are not your target But the 101 st person on the list is (plus only those that WANT to go back to the website are going to click the ad)

23 As the audience builds so does your conversion rate The only people who see your ad are people who have visited your site once before Any subsequent visits gets them closer and closer to taking some action Allows you to have a billboard of you without spending thousands Plus you are on a road that they are constantly traveling
