7 RLAP – What for?  Learning and sharing Frequent sharing and discussion within and between partners/ stakeholders of experiences and lessons learned  Action research Identification and implementation of action within a rigorous research framework  Dissemination Structured dissemination of lessons and results  Coordination RLAP- ICC Meeting 20111006

8 RLAP – Why the approach? Address the challenges of weak culture of learning, sharing and networking; and some extent local capacities The application of research results: moving towards actual uptake of innovations. Scaling up from small-scale and a limited time horizon towards sustainable implementation at scale. 14 RLAP – What approach do we adopt to introducing a Learning Alliance Platform in NR?  Do we intend to consider the ICC meetings as the Regional Learning Alliance with an injection of the learning component?  Do we intend to continue the monthly learning and sharing?  Who documents the learning(key issues from the discussions)?  How do we finance the meetings, what is the status of the current financing for the ICC,will the current financing process continue?  How will the documentation be financed ?
