LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses logic detail oriented facts rule words and language present and past math and science can comprehend knowing acknowledges order/pattern perception knows object name reality based forms strategies practical safe RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses feeling "big picture" oriented imagination rules symbols and images present and future philosophy & religion can "get it" (i.e. meaning) believes appreciates spatial perception knows object function fantasy based presents possibilities impetuous risk taking

6 Which one sounds more like you? Left? Right? Somewhere in the middle?

7 Question: Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

8 Right or Left Brain Dominant? If you see her spinning around clockwise, you’re likely to be a creative person. Everyone seeing her spinning anti - clockwise is likely to be more logic oriented and probably good at maths! In terms of physiological psychology, seeing her move clockwise indicates you are “Right Brain Dominant”, while a counter-clockwise person is “Left Brain Dominant” Some people can flip between both!!

9 Most people see the dancer turning anti- clockwise However you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it. If you start counting backwards from 100 it might help!
