1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? – The country that has the largest column is Australia. The reasons that I think this country has the highest amount is that they are fairly rich and well populated. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? – The country with the smallest/lowest amount is The Bahamas. Reasons that would cause this country to have a low amount are, they are kind of low on population. Also, they aren’t one of the richest countries there are. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. – Ireland and Cambodia are the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Ireland is a developed country, although it is a bit less developed than others. Cambodia is a developing country. I think Ireland is where it is because it has a population of 4,722,028 people, which is a fairly large amount. Not as many as places like the US, but enough to help them get started and start developing. Cambodia has a population of 14,952,665. With that kind of population, you would think they’d have a high population, the reason it’s so high, yet they are developed, is that they are a poor country. That makes it difficult for them to become developed.

4. Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. – The 7 th and 8 th ranked countries are Afghanistan and Haiti. Afghanistan is a developing country. To get to the top half of the rankings, Afghanistan will first need to gain more money in some way. They have a very large population, but not enough money to support all the people in the country. Haiti is also a developing country. It also has a very high population. Something that it could do to get into the top half of the rankings is that they also need to earn more money. They are one of the world’s poorest countries and they need a way to earn more money if they want to start developing. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. The country that stands out to me on the chart is Australia. This is because it has the highest amount of oil consumption on the chart. It has a high impact on world consumption because wherever they buy the oil from, that place will earn money from it. That’s a good thing, but there’s also some bad things. One of them is that when they buy all the oil that they do, it will become difficult for other countries to buy oil and the oil supply is becoming less and less.

1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? – The country that has the largest column is the USA. The reasons that I think this county has the highest amount is that the USA is very developed and has quite a bit of money. We have enough to keep ourselves sustained and we continue to develop. Internet is also a daily part in the lives of most people in the USA. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? – The country that has the smallest/lowest is Cambodia. The reason that this country has a low amount is that most people don’t have the money to pay for the internet. Their internet is probably not very developed either. Also, if people can barely pay for electricity, or they can’t at all, they wouldn’t be able to afford the internet. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. 1. The 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. are Ireland, Haiti, and Afghanistan. Ireland is the 5 th ranked, while Haiti and Afghanistan are tied for the 6 th ranked. Ireland is developed and Haiti and Afghanistan are not. I think Ireland is where it is in the ratings because it has a good population of people and that means most of the people will use the internet. Haiti and Afghanistan are where they are because they are poor countries, even though they have a high population. Most people cannot afford the internet.

4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. – The 7 th and 8 th ranked counties are Chad and The Bahamas. They are both developing countries. In order to get to the top half of the rankings, they need more money. If they earn more money, they can use it on electricity which can then be used for internet if wanted. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. – Another country that stands out to me on the chart is Japan. Japan stands out to me because it has the second highest level of internet users. This has an effect on the world consumption because it has the highest level next to the US and that means it will have an affect on what people see on the internet.

1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? – Ireland has the largest column on the graph. The reasons that I think this country has the highest amount is they don’t have a really high population, but they don’t have a low population. They have enough money to have enough doctors for everyone, actually more than enough doctors. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? – The country that has the smallest/lowest is Chad. Reasons that would cause this country to have a low amount is that they are a very poor country. Doctors cost a lot of money to hire and they don’t have that kind of money. Also, with the high population, it would be hard for everyone to be able find a doctor. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. – The 5 th and 6 th ranked countries are Canada and The Bahamas. Canada is developed and The Bahamas is developing. I think Canada is where it is because, although it is a large country, a lot of it is barren with not many people living there. The Bahamas is where it is because it is a small island with a small population. Although it is somewhat wealthy, it is not rich and it is not very big.

4. Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. – Haiti and Cambodia and the 7 th and 8 th ranked country. They are both developing countries. In order to get to the top half of the rankings, they would need to earn more money. Then, they could hire more doctors. If they have more doctors, then more people would be healthy, that could even help with their population. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. – Another country besides the US that stands out to me is Australia. This is because it is one of the highest on the chart. They have some of the most people and some of the most money, so they need a large amount of doctors. It can also give more people jobs.
