Basement Plan The basement plan not only indicates where the above ground structure is being built, but because this is usually an underground room, the same requirements are needed to indicate what is being placed in this “room” to make it functional. This “room” will need to be made water resistant so that seepage will not occur. Because of certain water tables are basements are not practical in some parts of the country.
