4. Is It A Sin? Are you talking about the act of dance itself? Is it intrinsically sinful? Or are you talking about the dances done most often in our culture? – Matt. 5:27-28 We are not to give place to temptation – Gal. 5:19-21, Matt. 18:6-7 The Bible is very clear about lewdness (sensuality)

5. Conclusion The Scriptures do not contain the exact phrase, “Thou shalt not dance,” but to believe that God approves of the sexual-oriented dancing of unmarried couples is foolish. Do not put yourself in a situation where lust is, and do not behave in a way that may cause others to lust!
