4. STRUCTURES A snurtle has a shell, snake head, and tail. The shell helps the snurtle so that the snurtle can hide in it. A snurtle is a vertebrate and they lay their eggs in water. It moves by slithering and breathes through its lungs.

5. BEHAVIOR Snurtles put their heads in their shells when it gets scared because the shell is hard and it protects the snurtle. It hunts at night so that its victims don’t know when it is going to attack. A snurtle has a shell but it has a snake head and a tail also. Not all snurtles hibernate.
