1 第三週: BE 動詞 文法時間 : 時態 (Tenses) 用以表示時間關係的各種動詞形式叫做時態,時態 共有 12 種: 例 : Verb “to be”.

2 簡單式 現在 I do. 過去 I did. 未來 I shall do. 完成式 現在 I have done. 過去 I had done. 未來 I shall have done. 進行式 現在 I am doing 過去 I was doing 未來 I shall be doing. 完成 現在 I have been doing. 進行式 過去 I had been doing. 未來 I shall have been doing.

4 (1) 用以表示現在的事實、狀態或動作: I am a student. ( 我是個學生 ) John has two brothers. ( 約翰有 2 個兄弟 ) I take this one. ( 我拿這個 ) 應注意事項: 主詞和動詞的人稱與數必須一致。 1. Verb “to be” 現在式 (Present Tense)

7 錯誤範例 : Nowadays, many students do not have the habit of reading in their free time. (A) This was because some of their parents want them to focus only on their studies. (B) Another reason __ that most students spend their leisure time watching TV or playing computer games. However, I think everyone should develop the habit of reading to broaden their horizons. I love reading a lot, and here (C) is some ways to encourage other students to read more books.

8 For instance, school can hold activities such as inviting famous writers to give speech. by talking face to face with the authors, students will become more interested in reading. Sometimes teacher can also assign students some books which (D) is related to the lessons, and give them a chance to share their opinions about the reading with each other. in this way, students can understand other’s ideas and learn different points of views. They can even write plays based on the plots of the books, and then perform them on state, which may make reading more fun!

10 修改重點 A. 將 was 改成 is 。因為前句中有 nowadays , 談論的是現在式的時態,此句的主詞是第三 人稱單數 (this) , 且 be 動詞的現在式是用 is 。 B. 此處要有 be 動詞 is 。主詞是 another reason ,補語是名詞子句 that most students spend… ,此處沒有動詞是不合文法的,因 此,在主詞與主詞補語間要加入現在式 be 動 詞 is 。 C. 將 is 改成 are 。因為主詞補語為複數 (some ways) ,因此,此處的 be 動詞要用 are 。

11 D. 將 is 改成 are 。因為 which… 是為修飾 books 的形容詞子句,因此主詞是 books ,是複 數,且前面有現在式助動詞 can 。 E. 將 were 改成 are 。因為 there is & there are 的用法為 There are + 複數主詞,中文翻譯為 這裡有。主詞是複數,且後面一句為 I hope 為現在式,因此此處要將過去式改成現在 式。
