2 VICTORIAN CERTIFCATE OF EDUCATION (VCE)  Main certificate students complete  Students study subjects over two years  6 subjects at year 11 plus RE  5 subjects at year 12 plus RE (Early entry could complete 6 in total)  ATAR – University or TAFE entry

3 VICTORIAN CERTIFICATE OF APPLIED LEARNING (VCAL)  Alternative to VCE  Individual and project based learning  Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development, Industry Specific skills  VET – Certificates at school eg. Certificate III Sport and Recreation  Intermediate – year 11  Senior – year 12

4 HORIZONS  VCE subjects  All decisions will be made in consultation with Horizons staff  Year 11 English/Literature or 10 Accelerated English

5 GENERAL OPTIONS  SCIENCES -Biology -Environmental Science -Psychology  OTHER: -Media -Business Management  REQUIREMENTS -80% on exams, Semester 1 Year 9 -excellent study habits -desire to excel

6 GENERAL OPTIONS  Football Excellence -only if invited  Accelerated Mathematics  Fundamental English  Foundation Mathematics  Educational Support RECOMMENDATION ONLY
